Esgair Timber Co. Ltd. is a small company based in rural Mid-Wales, producing a sustainable, quality range of homegrown timber products, from its base within our own forest.

We are working closely with our customers to ensure that our produce has the most robust environmental credentials, whilst maintaining a solid standard of quality. Esgair Forest is fully certified by the Soil Association, making it the first certified organic commercial forest in the UK, it is also run to a level above Forest Stewardship Council standards. The products from the forest satisfy the most stringent aspects of a truly sustainable timber production system, aiming to exceed FSC standards, in a locality already known widely for its forward thinking and proactive stance on a wide variety of increasingly important environmental matters.

We have used our own timber from Esgair to build the new saw mill over the last year, which processes our homegrown timber for structural sawn materials for sale into the local construction and timber framing market for sustainable buildings and houses. We have supplied timber for Ty Unnos houses, timber decking materials for the Wise building at CAT, and a bird watching platform for BBC Wales.
